In February 2002, a number of Palestine solidarity groups in Denmark met in the city of Odense and founded the Boycot Israel Campaign.

Crossing Borders is an NGO based at the International People’s College in Elsinore, Denmark with branches in Palestine, Israel and Jordan. The primary aim of Crossing Borders is to provide neutral space and skills training for youth and educators, with special focus on the Middle East, to fully participate in the process towards peace in their region.

The Danish Palestinian Friendship Association was founded in the spring of 1988. The background for this was the Intifadah, which highlighted the need for international support for a just and viable solution to the Palestinian cause.

The EMHRN is a network of more than 60 human rights organizations. Their main objectives are to support the universal principles of human rights as expressed in the Barcelona Declaration, to support the development of democratic institutions, promote the rule of law, human rights and human rights education, and to strengthen civil society in the Euro-Mediterranean region. They have a working group on the question of Palestine.

This organisation is working to establish a popular Arab-Israeli peace movement, which aims to promote peace in the Middle East: to strive for an on-going peace process between Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt and all Arab countries.
